Making justice accessible to all

Most of Centro Legal’s adult clients pay a one-time flat fee at the beginning of their case. Fees are determined on a sliding scale, based on household incomes. We find that asking clients to pay a fee further engages them as partners in their case. Clients participating in our domestic abuse program pay no fees.

Centro Legal is a nonprofit organization. Client fees cover only about one-fourth of the total cost of providing high-quality representation. We raise the rest through charitable donations and grant funding. Please consider adding your support.
